The Hellbender
The 4th Annual Hellbender Bike Ride will take place on Saturday September 12th, 2026. Riders can choose to participate in either the 25-mile, 35-mile, 50-mile, or 80-mile route. Each route starts and ends in Historic Downtown Lansing, NC.
Each route will take you through the backroads of the most scenic part of Ashe County, North Carolina. Riders will weave through the hills and hollers, past old tobacco barns and homesteads rich with history. With both paved and gravel roads, the terrain will be challenging but rewarding.

Scott Bikes Swiss Chocolates Ride
Join the Rhoddie Bicycle Outfitters Team and local Representatives from Scott Bikes for a beautiful 30-mile mixed surface route with 4,200 feet of climbing which will take us from Banner Elk Winery on a loop to the top of Beech Mountain. After descending back down to the Banner Elk Winery, we will enjoy Swiss chocolates & a beverage. Come on out as the fall views will not disappoint!!
All paces are welcome, but you are expected to know the route and be self-supported. Bikes equipped with 35mm or bigger tires are recommended.

Maple Sally Ride
Kick off the season with us on Sunday, May 3rd! We’re meeting at 10 am at Hard and Flossie Park in Collettsville for the iconic Maple Sally loop. It’s a 37-mile mixed-surface ride featuring 26 miles of prime gravel and 11 miles of pavement.
